Friday the 13th in Blairstown, New Jersey

It's Friday the 13th and what better way for us to enjoy the day than to visit Blairstown, NJ where parts of the original 1980's movie were filmed. Scenes from the movie in Blairstown, less than an hour north of Hunterdon County, included the Blairstown Diner and the Historic District area.

We started our trip today by eating at the Blairstown Diner and ordering a bloody pizza burger with sliced by Jason fries. On Friday the 13th the diner offers a special menu based on the theme of the movie. If you are lucky, you may even see Jason pop in.

We then walk through the Historic District area where the street and side buildings were filmed too. We stopped by the Blairstown Museum where C.J. Graham, who plays Jason Vorhees in the Friday the 13th Part VI, was there signing and meeting fans.

The trip is always fun to do on such an iconic day.
