We visited Bubbakoo’s Burritos today, opening day, after waiting months for this location to open and we were not disappointed.
This was our first visit to a Bubbakoo’s Burritos and it has a similar feel to a Chipotle with a beach twist. The serving setup is similar and we chose the chicken burrito and fried Oreos with powdered sugar. We also ordered the chips with a side of guacamole. The staff was very pleasant and did a great job, considering it was opening day. As for the food, it’s what makes this place fantastic. The chicken in the burrito was not overly spiced and the beans were more authentic in flavor and texture than a Chipotle. This burrito tasted more homemade. Next time I will request more sour cream. The only way to describe the fried Oreos is “Jersey Boardwalk”! One bite of this desert brought me back to the Jersey shore as it was cooked perfectly. The nachos are lightly salted, tasted fresh and worked well with the home sauce is very good too!
This place is a new gem in the area and I will be downloading the app and visit soon!
